I hope everyone has survived the storms. And for those that got tons of snow... I hope you got cleaned up ok and can get out and about.

I actually thought I was back up on the Canadian border in Northern NY yesterday. We had 5 degrees in morning with a high of 19. I wasn't much better this morning. Looks like the 40s and 50s will return later in the week here.

Not cold by most standards but we had 3 mornings in the low 20s leading up to Christmas Sunday. Our little church out in the country was built around 1910. It replaced the original structure which was built in 1856. It burned down. 'New' building has a very high ceiling and lots of windows so nothing to keep in the heat. Pastor Mark went over early Sunday morning to turn on the heat. Temp inside was 42 at that point and by the time we let out at noon it was a balmy 56. Thankfully that situation is a rarity in these parts.
