Typically...
I would say @ $2500 or so unless you find the owner of that car! Just an educated guess on my part. Some will say more...some less. I was offered $5k for one a few years back...but it was an offer...not a sale. Fact is...it is worth what you can get out of it. I'd have it magged and checked...guarantee it straight in the crank saddles and square on the decks to get top dollar and keep everyone happy. JMHO. Good luck. Ron

Thats probably from a machine shop, I have seen blocks and heads with names stamped in them before that had work done. |

I would get the PHS on that GTO from the serial number on the block. It would be neat to have and might give a buyer a little better feeling. I doubt PHS will know if the info for that car has been requested previously and from whom, but it never hurts to ask.

What does the date code on the block read?
Do you have the heads also?

Spend the $ and get the PHS run off VIN on block.
Might come in handy when selling. Id take it to machine shop for cleaning, mag check it, and a overall check/condition. You will get better money vrs. selling "as is". This wasnt the block down on Eastern Shore of MD was it? Found in a barn? Jeff |

The only 71 Judge I saw around here was a 71 convert out of Cedarburg, but that car was sold along time ago, I believe it was red. Never saw one in the Ramdom area but I know who would know if there was, I'll have to ask him next time I see him. |

Hello=The block has now been to the machine shop and is now ready to be put together.
My father and i had thought that the name on the block was someone who once owned it or something. I will try and post a better pic of the date code. Yes I do have a set of heads. They have been gone threw and are ready to be assembled. I have at least one of everything that is RAIV extra for my late father JOE LENOIR's 1970 judge RAIV 4spd. Not sure about the block but the car was bought in Oregon state. Thanks for all your help=JOEL |
