Default SD Performance Tragedy

Please keep Dave & wife in your thoughts, it is my understanding there was a fire as his place which caused extensive damage.

I don't have confirmed specifics/details, am unsure if both are safe/healthy/condition, this was received 2nd hand by me.

There is a comment on the splash page of his website regarding the matter, can view that here:

https://www.sdperformance.com/

Please include Dave & wife in your prayers...

Gezz what a terrible chain of events!!!
Praying for the best for them, but if nothing else depending on what they had for fire insurance, a civil suit can be brought against that Bus company to at least get back what can be replaced by money.

Even with compensation for the physical loss, the loss of revenue during the time to rebuild is brutal. Then, even after all has been replaced, setup, config of equip, etc, takes time too.

If you have a 1 year backlog, and you have to start fresh, it's tough to get back on track.

Then there's all the personal items, templates, notes, etc, whew!

I just can't even image the overwhelming amount of stress etc there would be in a situation like this.

My wife and I are beside are selves thinking about this loss. After the slides the flooding COVID and now a fire. We felt so honored to get our heads and intake into Dave's talented hands and we were happy to wait as the catching up was already hard on his mind. Apparently they lost a 70 Tempest the were doing for family as well. Dave thinks they have recovered most of the stock awaiting work and believes we could save our units from this calamity. Our hearts go out to him and his family and we are thankful no one was physically hurt. Even the kids on the bus made it out fine. Good luck to Dave and Lisa and hopefully recovery will come faster than usual.

Just terrible, such good people and a huge asset to us all.
They just can not catch a break.
Something great is just around the corner for them. They deserve it.
Have to think positive.

Just incredible misfortune. I wish the guy and his wife the best. Agree completely that this may be the end of SD Performance as you knew it. What a shame.
