Hi ! I am looking for some pictures and help on unshrouding and re-shaping the combustion chambers on my # 670 heads. The heads go on my 66 421 short block .060 with 428 .030 pistons with 4 reliefs. What can be done to the air passage holes next to the exhaust valve guide in the port ? What is the best material to fill the exhaust crossover in the heads and is it necessary to do it for street use. I had a thin piece of stainless steel blocking it off before at the head and intake gasket.
Thanks for any help.

There was a 400 buildup a year or so in Hot Rod or Car Craft that Ken Crocie used some 670 s opened up on. The Wilhites (Kansas?)has a Bridgeport cutter for opening them up to late model shaped.

I would think trying to copy a high swirl fast burn chamber would get you in the low 80ccs and about right for a 400 on pump gas.
