The tan nose on that '63 wagon looks familiar.

Ron great pics, thanks.
Gary. How's the Firebird running now? It's looking good. I see a couple of improvements around the track but pretty much the good ol" same ol' GLD. Mark L

So, the old 1/2 x 9/16 combo box wrench and safety wire did the trick!
For the alt deal.
I used a stock upper brace and modified an original aluminum mntg brkt to cly hd.
Works great.

Yes Ron. The tan nose remembers you too. I put it to good use, just on a different car.

wrench is still on there! I don't think I had one thing in this entire build fit as perfectly as that combo wrench did holding the alternator still. Thank you guys for all the help, I try to keep the wrenching at home but sometimes the car has other ideas.

No problem helping out.....kept my mind off the fact that my junk isn't done and I would have loved to have been out with all you guys.

Hey Dave, I can't wait to see what your car will run when you can get some traction!

Ron showed that to me as we walked by your car. It looks like a custom fit part,Eh? I say chrome it and leave it there!
Good job Ron!
