Question Clutch and pressure plate recommendation?

Just finished the rebuild of a stock 400 to a built 461 stroker. Figure about 425 hp and 500 lbf-ft. When the trans was installed, a stock replacement Sachs clutch and pressure plate were installed. I don’t have confidence in the longevity of this clutch even though it has very few miles on it. The car is just going to be used as a fun street car and I don’t have plans to take it to the track. So, does anyone have a recommendation of a budget friendly, won’t wear out my left leg, street clutch/ pressure plate combo? Not looking to upgrade to hydraulic at this time.

Stay with an organic clutch.. ACT, Mcleod, CenterForce., Spec, Ram, Hayes. Lots of manufactures out there. Lots of post on P/Y also. For safety you could also look into a SFI approved clutch. Billet steel flywheel and a SFI approved bell housing. Expensive yes but so are your legs if anything happens. I like the Quicktime bell housings.

I have probably 100hp less than you in my setup but I run a LUK. Easy on the wallet and my left leg.

I also run a LUK. Very happy with that companies' Clutch and Pressure Plates.
