Dual 1050 jetting and setup
Im looking to put a couple 1050s i have on a gutsram. Looking at options for linkage -Wiand maybe and a good starting point for jetting. They are both 9375 3 circuit carbs. This is what i have to work with for now.
Will be running on 110 fuel. More for looks than anything , feel like it time to put a tunnel ram on my gasser. Ive been high 9s, looking to tune better and pick up some. 13:1 517, with kre 380 high port heads. Th400 , 6k stall, 4.10 dana 60 with 29.5 10.5w tires. At 3500 lbs

I flat out can’t see a need for you to run duel 1050s even without knowing how much vacuum your pulling at peak rpm even now with what I assume is just one carb!
A single 1150 Dominator can feed a motor up to 950 hp just to put a number to the conversation.

I used Enderle linkage.

Just an example: Bill Klausing had a Tri-Power set-up with 3 Holley 650 cfm 2-BBL carbs. Did not want to change carbs. We restricted the airflow thru the carbs by not opening the end carbs completely and the car went quicker. AGAIN: "More for looks than anything" Tom V.

We ran 2 HP 950's and 2 1150 Dominators on a Gutsram. I can get the jetting if you want it. It's in the old log books I am sure. We used a throttle cable and a universal Enderle linkage kit. It had everything needed to make a simple, reliable linkage system. Believe it or not, the 2 1150 Dominators had better idle quality, less, loading-up at idle, and more crisp throttle response than the HP 950's. I was surprised by this and really came to like the Dominators. I expected them to be lazy at low load/speed. They worked great.

I looked over the specs. as delivered on those carbs. I think you are going to be in the ballpark as delivered. I remember on the dyno we messed around with the jetting and air bleeds some and ended up going back to almost stock calibration. We did have it stagger jetted a little to favor cylinder #1 and 2. Cylinder #2 always ran lean with the Gutsram and we did add fuel to 1 and 2. It will take a few days to have Eric look through the old log books.

Our log books had nitrous and fuel jetting for those systems but not the carb jetting. Sorry I don't have that info. Thought I did , but no. I do remember as mentioned we were within 3 sizes or so of the as delivered jetting.

Oh, that's great. You should be able to dial them right in. After what I recently went through with a pair of Carter AFB's , Holley carbs are so much easier to dial in. I don't think I would have ever been able to do it without the wide band O2's. They are a huge help. Best of luck with it. A Pontiac gasser with a pair of Dominators on a Gutsram will turn lots of heads and should run great as well. Really liked that manifold. It outran the sheet metal intake we used prior on the Grocery Getter.

I'd personally spend the money on tuning up the HP heads ports and valve job it.

Well my compression isn't helping either, when i planned this out 110 was still 5.99 ga, so kept it at flat tops instead of closer to 14:1 where id like it. The valve job is recent, but understand about having these gone thru

Compression isn't an issue (it helps yes), there are guys running mid 9s on pump gas.

Yea, Darby comes to mind. Mines closer to 12.75 actually. I still feel like there is something going on with the heads so I don't disagree with you about having them gone thru.
