cejay825, I'm not this mechanically gifted, so I envy you, Jack, and others that know how to make this work. If you would ever consider making another set up and have a $$ amount in mind, please let me know. We're converting a 69 Camaro with hideaways to an electric motor too but they offer such a product for that so converting that should be easy. I'd love to go electric on my GTO and may be willing to pay for a set up. You guys get an A++++ from me!

BTW, I'm looking for one of the hidden headlight parts shown in an earlier pic:

I remember when Jack first released this info in his first post i was salivating over it. I had a 69 Judge at the time.
I do remember looking up in an industrial supply catalog a timed relay. You could simply trigger the relay with the headlight switch OR build a bracket to mount two limit switches to for open and closed confirmation. |
