Default is my 455 crank done?

i got a factory cast 455 crank that is 30 on the rods & mains. the mains will polish out but the rods may need to be turned. is it possible to offset grind it to the 4.25 stroke & use the 6.800 rods? had this done in the past but the cranks were all std.dont wanna throw it out i've always had good luck with the stock cranks thanks.
