Default 12 bolt Richmond 4.10 ring and pinion gear set

Richmond ring and pinion gear set new in box for a Chevrolet 12 bolt. Part number 69-0031-1. $225 plus shipping.

Will this fit in a carrier that has 3;23 gears now?
I think it is a 3 series an the 4;10 needs a 4 series?
mine is a 67 Chevy 12 bolt

Default 4.10 gears

Hi, one question about your gears if you still have them. In the picture of the back of the pinion, near the bottom, there is a jagged line that looks like a crack? I doubt if it is and if you take a look at it and it’s not a defect or something I’ll take them.
