2003 Chevy gauges not working
Bought a 2003 Chevy 2500hd/8.1 last week and all was well. This morning i head to the store and all is well, get back in the truck and now i have NO gauges that work. The digital odometer still works but nothing else. I looked in the owners manual and all i found under fuses was one that said cluster/hazard/blinkers. Hazard and blinkers work fine. Any ideas?
Note: It was a ground issue. All fixed now. Thanks

If im not mistaken there is a tsb out for this issue. My best guess is the cluster has failed its pretty common, Id get a wiring diagram and check for power and ground at the cluster itself but I would lay money down that the Cluster itself has crapped out on you.

I bet RS72LEMANS is correct. The gears strip on the servo motors that drive the needles....if it has not failed, it will. GM offered free replacement on certain models up to 7 years/70000 miles. I had mine done last summer.

I fixed it. It would up being a ground wire from the firewall to the hood?????? Anyways that wire was damaged and when i shook it, the gauges went back to work.
