Looking for some help in painting the padded dash and the hard plastic interior parts. I read were the vinyl die is good for the hard plastic. Is that correct? Also, do you use this same die for the padded dash, or is that just painted with something else. The car is a 71 T/A and the interior is currently black, I am going to medium blue. Thanks for any help.

I have a similair question. I just purchased my 78 t/a. It is blue but my wife wants to change it to black. What interior I don't replace seats, floor, headliner, can I paint and will it last?

Sherwin Williams and PPG (automotive paints not house paints)make paints specifically for interior applications. These paints are usually vinyl based so that they are flexible. I would advise using a plastic primer before the color application, without the primer every stress and flow line in the plastic will show.
