I found one with the hole cut in it like that back in the nineties. I had a buddy who had spaces at Carlisle each year. We scrounging parts all year long in the Savannah area, and then took them them to Carlisle for the summer swap meet. After haggling over the price of a hub cap for the weekend, we would drive back to Savannah with some cash in our pockets.
Anyway, I sold that Formula hood at Carlisle. One year I gave away a set of #16 D-ports by accident. A customer haggled the price down with me, and then asked if he could use my dolly to roll them to his car. I said sure, I’ll help you. In the fog of doing the transaction and helping to load the heads, I never collected the $200 for the heads. That guy got a good deal!
