Here's a car I play with a '71 T/A. I drive it almost daily when the weather permits. The original motor is long gone(which sort of allowed me to paint it red), so it has a 70 455 4bolt, ported heads that achieve almost 10:1, RAIV intake, RAIII exhaust manifolds and a RAIII carb.,has fact. A/C, 4 Spd, pwr everything including tilt and deluxe int. The car is pretty clean with no rust. I have several other nos. matching cars so I built this the way I like it. Tired of blue and white and white and blue. Its laugh when I go to a car show and people say "I had one just like that". I think to myself, "NOT". I know alot of guys are thinking "Sacralidge". But its fun to drive and its different to some degree.

When you see the red ones and they look so GOOD it just makes you wonder why they were not offered.

Man I like that color combo, and the fact you built it the way you want it. I too have #'s matching car, but it's nice to build a car the way you see it, and not what the norm is. I like it! Looks good!

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.

Dammit...they should've built red ones like yours and a black ones too. It's just too obvious not to. Guess they were continuing with the '69 theme when they changed it up in '70 to blue or white. Kinda like the girls when I grew up. You only get to see a little bit more as time progressed.

I always thought I'd add a console, but I've grown used to not having one. I think the lack of PS and PB is a good example of rare does not mean desirable.

I've got the PB on now, just need to bleed and find or make the one part I forgot - the brake switch bracket. The pedal is 2" lower with PB and it turns out there is a piece I need to add to hit the switch.

Yes, Washington state, south of Seattle. I took off the front plate when I changed to the collector plates since you only get one.

I'm going to finish up the brake bleeding and then get some new photos with its new wheels.

Thanks for the welcome!

What back spacing did you get, and what size of tires? If you put them on, please post some pics.

I'll be taking pictures soon. Our power was out for the last 3 days and need to wait a few more for the snow to clear. I put power brakes on last weekend and haven't been able to get my car out to see if I have brakes yet. 255/60 15 rear and 245/60 15 front on 4.5" back space.

Here is one from today with the 15x8 WV. Roads are still pretty juicy with melting snow, so I got road crud all over the sides of the car. 245/60 15 front and 255/60 15 rear.
First time I've been able to get it out to try the power brakes since adding them last weekend.

Couple more progress pics. My car came home from my buddy's shop yesterday, finally got the glass in and the park lights buttoned up. I drove it around the block and raddled some windows. Can't over state how gratifying a 4 block "cruise" can be! Now the wiring and interior starts. Hope everyone is ready to field some questions. Plus lowering/stance ideas...

Love that shot of you coming up the street. That car just looks mean...not to be messed with.
