You're doing what it was built to do...driving it. I have way more fun driving my car than sitting around it at a car show. When you driving, you're a rolling car show. People dig seeing them in motion, I like that.

Yeap, great picture and love the action shots.
I drove mine to a client yesterday up by Iron River, Michigan. Then I drove it south to Lake Wood Wisconsin before taking Hey F to C home. Killer winding road and curves to die for. Ripping 80mph almost all day at around 3500 rpm. Gotta change that 3:73 to a 3:43 to help keep those R's down a little more on those long hauls.
Will take some pictures next run! Cheers

you will be immensely happier gearing up. 455's just don't need digger gear... and yes we like the action shot!!!

I have 3:23's in mine and I love them. They're the perfect balance for highway cruising and around town grunt.

And I agree, driving them is the best part! For me half the fun of going to a show is driving there and back home. I've probably logged 2k miles on the car so far this year, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

A change of pace. What a difference in the way it drives compared to the Goodyear Polyglas tires. Even with 13 year old Radial T/A's!

Beautiful car! I still recall the first drive in my friend's Formula 400 the day he ditched the Firestone's for a set of Radial T/A's. Eye-opening to say the least.

Can't see the seats, are we looking at a '70 or '71?
That rust is different. Never seen one quite that way. Looks like it might be better to part this one out.

Black wheel centers, small egg crate grille & no louvres in the front fenders...I think it is a '70 Rick? Can't tell if it is a 3-speed or 4-speed. Might be aftermarket / over the counter Hurst shifter?

More details but at first glance real 4 sp formula 400. From the few pics looks like it might be all there. I'm certainly not parting it.

heard that...you can buy sheet metal. If it's from Jersey, it will probably need more than you can see.

It's a 1970, pictures do not show all the rust floors and trunk seem solid all original , it is a real formula 400 with every thing it was born with 4spd a/c car. I think it could be saved but owner is hung on it being a low production car with centime tall value. I tried to explain it will cost as much to redo as its worth if not more.
