'65 Power disc conrsion brake lines Right Stuff ASP64C2
Has anyone used this kit?
Working on the front right line and from testing fit and talks with tech it seems like I need to add quite a few bends to the line to get it to fit. I thought that was why I bought a pre-bent kit? In fact, the line I bent this weekend (and then kinked) fits as well maybe better than the pre-bent line. Support has been responsive on their end and I had the lines in 2 days but when I went to install the right front line I had a "wtf" moment". Bending my own lines might be easier than re-bending theirs unless I'm looking at theirs wrong. Why would end/fitting be bent on a horizonal plane?

I had the same issue with the same line going over the crossmember but with a drum brake setup. Off by 2-3 inches. And of course I kinked it trying to make it fit. Right stuff is supposed to be the best out there but not in my book. Reordered from Inline Tube which was almost dead on.
In regards to your problem the tubing comes up the right side of the frame and then over the top. The photo is from a 68 but yours may be similar. (??)

The valve is mounted on a bracket at the master.
The car has headers so any lines on the inside or the top are too close to the heat. 67 Ram Air or HO cars had a right front line that was routed like the illustration below. In front of the crossmember then underneath the side rails and finally coming back up just behind the wheels. Left side would go to the valve and right side to the soft hose. That's the routing I need to use because of the headers.

These photos are of a Ram Air car. You can see where they go under in front and then come back out on the side
Thanks to RA6T7GTO for these pics

There is a reason why they are known as "Wrong Stuff". Nice people but.....

Right Stuff and Inline Tube are HORRIBLE to deal with tech support wise. I have had both their front end kits on different cars and sent both of them back. Believe it or not you can laugh all you want but I have had the best luck with CPP. It may be Chinese but it fits and it works

OK. I'm done.
2 hours of taking the front line in and out to mark where bends need to be made, bending, testing, then moving to the next bend. When I finished the right side ended about 2 inches too long. I can work with that. And the Left side was about 6 inches short. I can't fix that. I'll just start from scratch and bend them myself. How hard can it be to make parts that actually fit?

Yep. You have a brake line for a Ram Air set up. That's the one i used in mine. Your set is mixed up. The line you have goes to a prop valve mounted on the frame in the stock location for a 67 Ram Air car. Call them back and make them send you the right one. I actually picked mine up at Right Stuff and still ended up with that line being wrong in my kit. I ended up with one for a 73 Chevy some how. You need the line for their retro fit kit that moves the distribution block up to the master. The factory never put one there in 65.

That is what I thought and why I asked where it was.

I'm not sure what lines I have but I know at least this main line doesn't fit for me. Part numbers on the line were verified by RS as being correct and matching the image I sent them
I've contacted RS and requested a return. Hopefully that goes through easily. No matter how poorly I bend my own line it'll be sure to fit better than this one.

This is the Ram Air HO distribution block set up. That line you have works with this set up.

Thanks Cardo . They do look the same. Look at the right side though, the RS line is completely different/off.
Wuld you have any additional photos of the front line routing? Where they go around the springs and then up the frame? Thanks.
