The irony was what I was referring to. Everyone gushed over the fact that it was a "Real GTO", "not a clone " and "so clean". In the end none of that was relevant.
They can do what they want with the car. Actually while I appreciate the work that goes into a better than showroom restoration I find them boring. In the finishing department I would have expected something more original than orange with a Judge stripe though.
