Default Just Dashes..............

I have used Just Dashes numerous times in the past 15 years while restoring my three Pontiacs and I have always been pleased with the quality and appearance of the dash pads and door panels that I have had done. The door panels on my 68 GP are no exception and they were the finishing touch when remounted after their restoration. Unfortunately, the driver's side armrest vinyl began cracking recently, about five years after they were originally restored. Faced with the possibility of spending a second $500 for a redo, imagine my surprise when the company decided to recover the panel @ no charge after we discussed their use and current condition.

The lesson here is don't be too quick to jump on the Internet and beef a vendor until you have contacted the company, explained the problem, and requested satisfaction before assuming that they will not be willing to work with you to provide good after sale customer service.

That is great that they are standing behind their service after such a long time frame. It is great that there are still companies around that are proud of there products and what the customers feel.

As you can attest Les, I had a similar experience with Just Dashes during the course of the restoration of my '65 Chrysler 300 'vert. Towards the end of my interior rest, I had a few small parts that needed to be dyed. I ran them over expecting to wait the customary 2-3 weeks to get them back. To my amazement, they dyed them while I waited. We all know how busy these guys are, and to do that really blew me away. IMO, they are professionals that go above and beyond to ensure both a quality job and a happy customer.

Wish i had gone with just dashes for my daughters dash in her t/a. The company i sent it to has had it for about 8-9 months now. Yes, i've just about run out of patience at this point.

Don't forget that the TA dash pad is now reproduced and is very good. There would be little reason to restore a TA dash pad when the repro is available for $400.
