Lobe separation vs a optimised na cam for one. I'm not a cam designer but have seen may cards for high hp nitrous engines

The nitrous grinds wider than 117°?

Seems to me as the rpm range goes up na the lobes spread more. A na cam at 117 lives in what range? As stated I'm no expert. Most pontiac engines out there dont hit 8000 rpm.

We usually spin them to 5500 and advance the cam four degrees.
