Default ENGINE COMBO

Has anyone used the 4.75 crank in a 400 block? I'm thinking on doing a 30 over 400 with a 4.75 crank on pump gas (514 cu) !

I can`t see any problem other than The must of 4 bolt steel main caps with studs( which means aling hone time) filling the block to the freeze plugs and keeping the revs to 6k or less should keep the factory block intack.

Wait! I take that back, I do not think that the rods with that stroke will clear the block even with doing as much grinding as much as you can before you hit water!

Butler offers a kit to put a 4.5 crank in a 400, but no 4.75. That should tell you something.
