Is a windage tray recommended for a mildly modified, strictly street 455 T/A?
My engine builder is mostly a Chevy guy. He's cannibalizing my 400 to build a 455 ... if the original stock '78 400 T/A motor didn't have a windage tray, he won't put one in unless I specify it. Thanks. |

It is not really a necessity. Sometimes they crack and break, causing engine damage. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif[/img]
