I'm thinking of installing one of Cranes new Hydraulic roller cams in my 72 Lemans. One reason I'm leaning towards them is that they use an iron distributor gear. Anyone hear anything good or bad about them. They seem like a nice piece.

Thanks

Being able to use an iron distributor gear rather than bronze is a big advantage - as bronze gears need to be checked on a regular basis and replaced as they wear - I just pulled one out of a 400 with a comp hyd roller in it with about 4000 miles - the bronze gear is badly worn.
