Whoever painted these stripes needs to be beat with a squared off baseball bat.
The guy who took those photos was sure impressed.

What the hell is a Pontiac Trojan? It must have production numbers similar to the '86 LeSabre Grand National, since I've never heard of it.
Anyways, whatever uniquness it may have is seriously diminished by the 406 SBC 'upgrade'.

[QUOTE=Lightfoot;6033882]What the hell is a Pontiac Trojan?

Pontiac Tojan was a super car built by Knudsen Automotive between 1985 , 1991.
It was based off of the F-Body platform and assembled in Omaha, Nebraska by the Knudsen Automotive with GTA frames, injected 305 engines and 700R4 transmissions. They were designed to compete with European supercars.
I believe the production numbers are somewhere in 150 range.

At around 30 years of age, it will be starting to acrue in value. Sounds silly now but I'd bet that thing will start to show good value in years to come.

More than details of the car, I remember some writer mocking the name when they came out.

Jalopnik has a brief article on the Tojan, along with a video. They were an acquired taste. https://jalopnik.com/the-wild-pontia...-to-1833344639

If and when I have grandkids, I want to take them to the drive-in with a car like that. We still have a couple of them around.

Just wondering why they didn't paint the engine orange while they were at it.

I guess one of those weird cars sold at Barrett Jackson in 2010 for 16K. I had never heard of them. A friend of mine is going to check that one out tomorrow. I will post up what he finds out. The ad has very little info, such as price. They aren't worth much, rare or not.
