1972 400 Standard Bore Value?
Helping a friend out that has a early 70s Pontiac 400 sitting around collecting dust. Has a standard bore and comes with crank. It has a set of either 4X or 6X heads. Looking to see what a reasonable value is as a builder. Thanks in advance.

need to know the year, 1974 or early 75 were the last of teh good 481988 block, after that they were the thinner 500557 blocks aside from the 78-79 W72 XX blocks.
557 block- $250ish 988 block- $300-$500 unless an early 70s desired code or 78-79 XX. |

Go to the Franks Pontiac parts site and see what he is getting for these era blocks.
Just keep in mind that at his prices the blocks have already passed a Mag test.
