Hello. I just aquired a set of heads dated F69 and # 531359. The date I can do, but what are the heads. They are compleat and surfaced rusted but overall appear to be great rebuild candidates. Are they anchors or have they any value? It also came with a nice dual quad offenhauser of the same era[?]. Has either of these any value? Thanks for any help and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! Karl.

Karl,

No. 531395 heads were used on all 1959 engines. Valve size will be 1.88 int and 1.60 Ex.

If the head was used on a 10.5 CR. engine, a stamped "X" appeared just to the left of the center exhaust bolt hole. If HD valve springs were used (420 A), a "0" was stamped to the right.

Thanks Floyd, for the info. There not stamped with anything, so I guess that makes them junk? Oh well, now if I can find out what this Offenhauser is, I'll be set. Thanks again and have a GREAT DAY!. Karl.

If you have the casting number off the Offenhauser they are being made now and are sold by PAW in California; different #s for the different water passage sets obviously. Or email me the casting number and I'll see if it matches the pre-61 2x4 Offy manifold I have. It is in the garage or I'd put it on my post here.
