Lots of dents, including the roof. Like the dark primer covering.
72 dash pad?

Should someone tell him that is a '70????

I had one of those 6X Intake a few years ago. I sold mine with the carbs, but no linkage, for $600.

Here's one near me. Interesting car. Two tone Ivory with Turquoise roof. Lots of options, including power windows, AC, 3 speed auto tranny, Mirror group, console, etc. I learned a couple of things from decoding the data plate, like the "O" in group 1 is the chrome trim to separate the upper and lower colour, and the "P" in group 5 is the luggage lamp.

There was a '67 post coupe in that same color combination in western Maine back in the early-mid 80s. Then I saw it again, still with ME registration, in 2013 at a car show in Merrimac NH.
Quite possibly it was another Framingham car.

Frank, the way you quoted that ad I thought the engine needed replacement, no a window Motor.

I didn't know that these cars demanded such a premium. Especially with no motor or tranny.

Not really Epic, but a very nice 76 Base Firebird, 350 V8, Automatic, A/C, Power Steering & brakes, that's about it. I rarely saw a Base Firebird from that Vintage, this one looks very original and unmolested, with I had the space & $$$ for it.

Those 65 Z16's used a hydraulic cam L37 396, reinforced convertible frame, full size Chevy brakes and some other components as well as a few cosmetic differences.

Only 201 Z16's were built, also Malcolm Durham was drag racing’s first black superstar, #48 on NHRA’s top 50 driver’s list, so that undoubtedly adds to the price tag.

Frank
We were contacted by a magazine a few years back wanting to know if we knew anything about that. I knew the Z16's used the larger drums and shoes of the Impala, but we were not sure if they used a custom backing plate or spindle or modded upper arm to use the Impala spindle.
The Z16 community is tight lipped about it - there are fakes running about and supposedly this is a way to sort them out.

They’d have to fake the data plate, then on that Chevelle? It would have to be 13837. Either way, that’s pretty low. A tribute car is one thing.
How about trying to find a period correct 396 for that one? Did they put them in other vehicles that year? I know that you could build one or get a ‘66 block, but not the same.
