Default 68 ram air lower foam alternative?

Hello Everyone,

I've had my car for 45 years and had to change the Ram Air foam seals every 6-7 years because they turn to mush and fall apart.

Does anyone make these out of rubber, or a better quality foam? I know foam is correct, but I'd rather have something that I don't have to change so often.

Can the rubber seal from a Camaro be adapted to fit?

Has anyone come up with an alternative to the factory foam in any way?

Thanks,
Rick

Well the foam reproductions I am buying the past decade all seem to last and I drive often and have not had them deteriorate. Moroso sells a universal foam maybe you can get to work. But for under $100 the cost of a correct shape foam is hard to beat even if it lasts only 5 years for you.
