Default GT-37s with a build sheet

Now that there is a thread with a GT-37 build sheet found, how many here have found the build sheet for their GT-37 and where did you find it? I have mine.

Here is mine under the front seat.

Here i is after I taped it back together.

When I bought mine, the previous owner gave me a build sheet. He had removed the tank to replace sending unit.He had no idea what it was,so he kept it anyways. I then had a neighborHood youth bust the driver side window. I removed the doorpanel to replace the glass and found another copy taped to the watersheild.

Interesting that two different cars had the buildsheet behing the door panels. I never removed my door panels as of yet.

I special ordered my Pontiac built 72 GTO and was able to see it before it was pre-delivery serviced. I have one that was taped to the distributor and one that was folded above the drivers sunvisor. I still own the car and have never found any more. And as you can see it's a different style then most. My car came off the line March 1,'72.

Is this the other car was offering for my GT 37 page? If so, can you post a pic of the car here so I can add it?

That looks like a 1969 and older build sheet. Strange it was taped to the distributor. Getting one folded above the sun visor.

Every engine had a build sheet, I was lucky to get mine right after it got to the dealer. I'm sure it would have gone in the trash once it was serviced for delivery. I know this is supposed to be GT-37 site, but I figured my GTO came off the same line and all of you would be interested.

Its fine that it is GTO, Lemans or GT-37. Like you said, these cars were all built in the same plants.

Bill - probably the reason it's a little different than most is because it is body specific; most are found on top of the fuel tank and have more chassis content.

There would be a specific build sheet tailored for each "feeder" line where components were subassembled/dressed out and brought to the main line; so - rear axle, engine line, body, chassis, seats, etc. Then, as you mentioned, as the various components come together those no-longer needed build sheets would get pitched (usually in the assembly plant).
