It all started with Mr. Moose on Captain Kangaroo, and all of those *%$# ping pong balls. And his pal Bunny Rabbit... A more shifty character I have yet to meet!
Hell in a handbasket, I tell you. Moose, balls, bunnies... A slippery slope indeed!

High School class of 1965 here...
Would this be a good place to say my high school had a rifle club?
Not only that, the first day of deer season was essentially a holiday.

That's great!!! I agree 100%
When I was a kid I was fascinated by this part of our history. I mean c'mon, what could be more important than freedom? It wasn't until I was forced to join the "real world" that I realized the hippie "message" was, for most, a load of crap. They have since proven that they don't mind stuff being jammed down our throats as long as it's a part of their BS agenda.

Like it or not, a portion of the Baby Boomers is responsible for destroying Western society. They purposely targeted the educational institutions to fundamentally change the most dominant nation on this little world.
I don't consider people born after 1955 to be Boomers. Because they aren't. Gov just wants to cram others in that demographic so they don't have to think. And no, not all Boomers are responsible. That's just the generation responsible for our current state of decay. Last edited by PonchoV8; 06-21-2014 at 10:23 AM. |

All the Left Boomers actually. It is all about 'Me' to the degree that they can not conceive that the world can go on in their absence. In fact, I think they came up with global warming and every other fear inspiring 'end of the world as we know it' idea b/c they can not conceive of a world without them in it. It was couched in a concern for society, but it was really all about feathering their nests and avoiding responsibility for disciplining their kids and themselves the whole time. Now we are reaping all the lovely benefits of their social engineering.
A big thank-you from all who are left holding the bag.
