Default Repop Wheel Opening Molding Fit/Quality

So at the point where the wheel opening moldings are ready to be install. Repop fenders, the molding fits great. Quarter patch panels and repop molding, not so good.

The repop quarter patch panels fit pretty good to the outer wheel house/etc, so not sure where the disconnect is, maybe it's the rear repop moldings themselves?

Wondering if I should send back the set of rear moldings and see if I get a better set?

What have others seen in fitment of repop wheel opening moldings, and any tips or getting a good fit?
