Default 8.2 Rear with UT axle code

I picked up a 1967 8.2 Posi Rear with what appear to be nice 3.23 gears. The axle code is UT or UI on left tube/rear- and I can’t find any info on it. This one has the provisions for the upper trailing arms on the center section and leaf spring perches welded in at Firebird width. Backing plate to backing plate is ~54.25”

I read somewhere the 67 Firebird rears may have come with the loops for the trailing arm bushings, and other brackets at bottom of tubes- is that the case here or is it a frankestine?

It's a 3.23 gear (UT) with locking unit for a Firebird, so it would have the stuff for the leaf spring bars.

Is it a nodular ? Have the N cast into the top?

I thought all Nodular’s had a Julian date code?

It's a 2 pinion Saf-T-Track unit.
Center section would be casting number 9783393, grey iron. ol' Pinion head posted good info here...
