I bought a SILICONE FLUID SFI 7.25# damper from Flatlander racing and my crank pulley will not fit it. The Center hole is not wide enough to fit over the damper and the bolt holes are 3 3/4" straight across from each other instead of 4" on the stock pulley. Does any aftermarket company make pulleys that will fit this balancer or am out of luck and have to grind away at this s.o.b.?

I hate to say it, but try BB/SB chevy pulley's.Or a day at the bone yard may be in order. You may have to experiment w/shims, etc. I use a BHJ SFI balancer that accepts stock Poncho pulleys. Good Luck, Guy O.P.R.A.

I BOUGHT ONE OVER THE WINTER FOR MY 75 TRANS AM I DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT FITTIG OVER THE CENTER ,BUT THE WHOLES DIDNT LINE UP ,SO I TURNED IT AWAY FROM ORIGINAL HOLES AND MARKED AND DRILLED IT ,IT WORKS FINE NOW .IF THE CENTER DOESNT FIT I SUGGEST TAKING A DIE GRINDER AND CAREFULLY SHAVE TILL IT FITS AND THEN MARK AND DRILL ,I HAD TO DO THIS TO MY GTO WHEN I PUT ON AN ATI BALANCER SEVERAL YERS AGO. GOOD LUCK MY ATI TOOK A 3BOLT BBC UNIT .THE FLAT LINER BALANCER HAS 4 BOLT WHOLES AND IS ABOUT A QUARTER INCH OFF AT EACH WHOLE MINE HAS BEEN WORKING FLAWLESS NOW FOR 6 MONTHS THIS CAR IS A DRIVER AS WELL AS A DRAG RACER.IF YOU NEED ANY HELP CALL OR E MAIL ME AT 301-447-2192: JOE (PONTIAC)DEYTON
P.S. DO NOT DRILL THE BALANCER ONLY THE PULLEY.DRILL THE PULLEY TO MATCH THE BALANCER HOLES. TURN IT AWAY FROM THE STOCK HOLES TO GIVE IT MORE METAL & DONT ELONGATE THE HOLES
