For those of you that have run a rev limiter, what experience have you had with the different brands/models? A lot of the descriptions from different makers seem to have a bunch of questionable features. All I want it to do is limit max rpm without causing problems when its just under the rev limit (in case something in the drivetrain breaks - not that I would ever miss a shift - ha ha). Good or bad experience is appreciated. Thanks.

Larry,
Although I am not a big fan of MSD products, I am pretty happy with the soft touch rev limiter. I tried the autometer one, and it would shut down the engine outright Waaaa-Puh..... I had to press the reset button to re-start the engine. That really was a pain in the behind, not to mention really unsafe. I'm sure that all of the newer electronic ignitions with rev-limiters would work pretty well, Crane, Holley, Mallory, Jacobs, Electromotive, Accel, etc. Good luck, K.
