I'm looking for a good spark plug wire to use for my 400. I'm running 9:1 compression, and am curious if the Taylor Brand 8mm 90degree wires will be ok.

I just bought a set of 8mm Taylor 45 degree wires from Spotts Performance . Best damn wires I ever put on my 67 400 with a Mallory HEI unilite distributer .
Thinking of getting another set for my 68 400 .

I have been using Taylor wires for years with great success. The 90 degree boots are fine but I like the 135 degree boots the best, with my big hands they are easier to get hold of when things are hot. And the straight boots get in the way on some cylinders.

Used Taylor, Moroso 11mm, Accel 8.8mm. No problems with any of them. just keep them clean. I use carb spray on a rag, on a regular basis. Have had the same wires for years now. Later, http://sites.netscape.net/pontiacdude428
