Looks like a 2009+ model, the older ones did not have chrome or a side window behind the rear doors.
The WRX is a silly fast car when driven by a skilled driver. My buddy has a 2003. They eat clutches when driven hard. Assuming the guy knew how to feather the clutch with the turbo engaged that's a serious score to beat a WRX. The 2000-2004 models are in my opinion are the peak of that platform, a stock 2002 WRX can do a quarter mile in 14.2 seconds, and it's STI version is 1 second faster than that, and those are bone stock. Great car to have put an arrow head through! |
