I started my car today for the first time in 2 weeks(too busy at work).The car started fine and warmed up for 3 minutes.I had the hood up and went in the car to back up 10' so my wife could back her car out of the driveway.I put the GTO in reverse, gave the gas pedal a nudge and the center carb backfired.This has never happened in 2 years of ownership.I took the car for a ride after and it ran fine. I am going to put a vac. gauge on the center carb as a first check.Any thoughts on possibe cause? Thanks JB.
