Ok gang here go,s everytime i turn headlite switch
to dome position i blow the switch, whats blowing is the tiny spring on the resistor is breaking in half or blowing?? Help im not a electrical; wizzard so if you can help me out explain clearly
so i can grasp it!! Thanks for all who has helped me in the past, e-mail me anytime for this problem
at ribudney@cs.com P.s. naturally when the spring breaks i loose all my dash lites and interior lites(on my 4th switch) help!!

Not a good answer but quit turning on the dome light. Does it not blow when you open the door? If you already have put in a new switch I would suspect a short in the wiring or the lite socket itself. The lite wires I belive are orange and white located far left under dash up and then thru headliner. Going to be hard to inspect these wires under the headliner so check the socket for rust loose or frayed wirs exposed etc. Good luck
