QUADRAJET SECONDARY TUNING EQUIPMENT
Kestrel weather machine and several sets of cliffs custom secondary metering rods. Each set is in increments of 300' of density altitude. A must have when racing with a QUADRAJET throughout the year with air and elevation changes from track to track. I used this to tune my firebirds into the 10's. Now that I'm done racing it's time to pass it on. The kestrel has been recalibrated as recently as last fall.
This is over 600 dollars retail. Selling to a py member for 400 I will get some pics up tonite delaiglej@bellsouth.net

That's a Kestrel 4500, Yes it is able to provide density altitude, among many other weather parameters. You have to input your field elevation, which can be found at most drag strips web sites, or the elevation of the closest airport can be used. Where I race it's so low, I think I use 40' for field elevation. When I go to VMP I think it is 184', anyway its not hard to use. Ive had a K-4000 for many years and it has served me well.

Thanks 455firebird1969,
The meter does a lot more than I used it for. I mainly honed in on barometer, altitude and density altitude. It's a great tool to be sure the right WOT application is in the secondaries and that sweet spot for air fuel. However, I recommend starting on a chassis Dyno to draw your baseline off of. Seems to be cheaper than track time. Whether your at Norwalk in early August (3500') or Englishtown in late october (-550') there is a set of cliffs secondary rods for your qjet in this set.
