Yeah, it's psycho, it's like they get some kind of perverse pleasure in knowing other people hate the fact that it's rotting into the ground. This car was absolutely rust-free when I first saw it in this very spot in 1989. Guy WILL NOT sell it. Garbage now anyways. Glad the OP's Z never met this fate.

Just saw this post was brought back up and thought I would update on the car.
I finished the resto on car in 2015 (I felt the car deserved to have a full resto done).
I sold it this past fall and the new owners took the car to Barrett Jackson Scottsdale last month. I hated to sell it but just didn't have the time to show it and honestly it was just to nice to drive.

I posted a few finished pics of it and some from BJ auction

Hey Mark how have you been? Do you still have your 69 conv GTO? I did sell the Judge in 2013 to a collector who has it in his private collection less than 25 miles from my place.

Brent, yes still have that one and the bird. Hoping to do a lot more this year than last couple years - shows and racing. Missed a lot last summer. How about you - any new projects??
