Default 66 catalina

I have a 66 catalina that I want to sell but need some help coming up with a realistic price to ask.
mostly all original still retaining its born with 389 that runs and drives nice. Just drove it tonight
previous owner told me he had it repainted in late 80,s / early 90,s. The body seems in decent shape with the exception of the vinyl top which has bubbles showing underneath. Previous owner claims it had rust pits on the roof when it was painted years ago. Apparently the body shop cleaned and filled them before they installed a new top. Now it seems those repairs are starting to come back thru causing the vinyl to bubble.

Other than the top the car is in decent overall condition for a 50 year old car.

I am a Pontiac guy but more familiar with GTO,s than big Pontiacs. Can anyone give me a rough idea what price to ask for this ?
Any help appreciated

I would say the car would sell in the $4-5k range. Many may disagree and ASK more, but if you want the car to SELL, that is a realistic price range.

Unrestored I think DH is just about on the money!
The only downfall will be the rust, in that area the rust digs in deep and you just see the bondo bubbles! Not a big deal to get fixed.
Hows the trunk pan? That's a normal rust out area, and tougher to replace.

$4-5 grand is a reasonable price, unless the owner has Barrett-Jackson prices dancing in his head.

Agree with Bruce, etc. I would start @ $6500.00 based on the pictures but the 4-5 grand is realistic.

Thanks guys for all the help with a value estimate. Those figures are in line with what I was thinking as a starting point. The family I bought the car from had it appraised recently @$4700. I wasn't sure if that was realistic or not but that's seems to be in line with the figures I've been getting from this post.
I'm going to detail the car this weekend and go over some things as it has been sitting for almost a year. I might post it f/s in the classifieds on this site later in the weekend.
I also might have a vender spot at next weeks fall Carlisle show so I might try that?

Btw the car doesn't have a/c for those that asked

Thanks again guys
