My latest project.Tripower-4speed. Now all I need is a job to complete it! My job went to China because "we can build it better and cheaper in China"
Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics.

I had to remove the head rests that Pitt64 liked so well. A little vinyl cleaner and carpet shampoo did the trick on the interior

I used about a 1/2 can of Gunk engine cleaner. I think it did a pretty good job, what do you think...eh?

Now that is inspirational. My 'big'project has nothing on that. Amazing job '64 D/T.

Just don't give that little guy the keys until he is about 35.

It is amazing how the steering wheel is in such relatively good shape in the before picture even though there is obviously some serious UV exposure on the interior. Crazy the stuff that survives sometimes.

Deadhead,

The steering wheel is the same in the before/after pics. The dash is all original (vinyl died aqua) and not a crack in it, but the seats had to go. The seats in the original pic musta come outta a Bonneville. I suspect the car didn't have a top on it for about 5-7 years. I did have to use the door panel metal frames. Most of what you see is original to the car minus the front fenders. The car came out of Spokane, Washington.

The only thing I didn't do myself was stitch up the seat covers, everything else is 'Rons work'.

Thanks for the complements....

VERY nice. My compliments to the polisher.

Isn't that the Stanley Cup in the foreground?

Here's a picture of Karl's (64Cat's) car. I happened to park on the street the other night next to it. Also, check out the pictures I posted in the Events and Shows section, at http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...1/m/7681092821

I love a good cam. Whenever I am idling in ANY car now, all I hear is my 744. Only thing that could be better is if Garcia was playing a lead over it .
