I'm still wavering. They look really cool, but shouldn't a darksider plaque be made out of 3/8" boiler plate or depleted uranium?

My understanding is that they are made from the recycled remains of the many Chevies/Fords/Mopars left in the wake of our beloved B-bodied Pontiac's.

To put an end to the mystery, we only use Z-11 sheetmetal. The added Ch3vy weight over rear wheels is good for a lower ET.

Any chance of getting one of these the size of a front license plate or is that what size they are?

hobby, as mentioned above these plaques are the traditional size at 5" x 9"... the full 6" x 12" (typical DOT-approved sized plate) could be done but we'd need to get 50 orders to make worth it. So, you in on the ones we ARE doing?

We are really close to 50 reserved ... hey all you guys that I PM'ed... whadya say?

OK, with Heybuck's order and the ones I am going to order, we have 50 pieces.

Again, if any of you who had previously expressed interest in having one (or more) of these, please say so (see previous posts for ordering procedures). There may not be another round made.

Default Interest in another one

Matt,

I would also like to know the drop dead date as maybe I can scrounge up some pop bottles and PayPal you for another one.

How close is the Robin's egg blue to the '60-64engine color?

Greg,

With Bill and my schedules, we probably won't get the final artwork to the foundry until mid next week, and there's probably a week there before this job goes into the hopper.

The powder blue will either be the offering from Plasti-Kote or Dupli-Color (at the moment I can't recall which I thought was closer to original).

Default Thanks

They are both pretty good matches and since you have '62's, I trust your judgement and am leaning towards getting one in that color.

Take care,
Greg

Matt. I've got the check in an envelope all ready to mail out on Monday. You should see it in a couple of days. It always takes a day or two extra for the Pony Express to change out horses around Oklahoma City. Heh! Mark L

Mike, yes there is, Thanks!

Actually, I am going to have to freeze incoming requests soon - Let's say the ordering deadline is next Sunday at noon central.

Order-taking is CLOSED.

Thanks to everyone who threw his hat into the ring... figure about 3 - 5 weeks before delivery on your order.
