Surely that's not it but a Ford GT that looked exactly like that one just went for $6.3 million at Mecum. I believe that they said it had been hidden away for decades.

Huh...? Don't know how that happened. It grabbed the ad instead of the video I guess...
I tried it again and it pasted the Harbor Freight ad. Mmmmmm

An owner of a real GT-40 would not put it on a rollback tow truck .

Couldn't get a pic, but it was like this (same paint scheme and colors). Not the sort of thing you normally see driving around in Michigan in January. K

Keith, I saw a Zimmer like that at 22-mile road and Shelby Road in Shelby Michigan, but it was white.

A couple interesting cars..
The Subaru (360?) was in the dealership as a conversation piece. I don't remember anything like it... too bad they couldn't put the rear bumper back on. 60s vintage? Were they sold in the US? The street rod owner was enjoying a beautiful spring day in the middle of winter. |

Thanks Stuart!
Interesting history and this local example is definitely an odd duck. Cool to me that it had a 2-cyl 2-stroke requiring pre-mix. And 0 to 60 in 37 seconds! I'm also glad that both Bricklin and the American public moved past this to something more interesting. |

I suspect the Schwinn Stingray laughed at it and definitely out-sold it.
