1150 - 1250 is my low and high window. Outside of those numbers I look to see why. Normally around 1200.

Tomorrow night will put back in 196 jets all the way around, .025 high air bleeds, .035 low air bleeds and take the timing to 34 degrees. Did not get to pull the pipes as I had to spend time replacing a starter.

Looking good, Glenn!

What did the other FED run time wise?

Also, what's with the jackets on the backup person in the video?

As promised, but a long time ago, spark plug pictures.

The first shot is my pricy spark plug holder, the inner two rows is from the Gold Cup weekend. I did not pull the plugs right away and was running it in the trailer so they are not as clean as they should be to read.

The two outer rows are from Wednesday night.

The right bank now has a little heat in it and the left bank is just staring to show some heat.

I have the timing at 35 degrees and the jets at 184 all the way around.

I want to try 182, but no one seems to make them so I have ordered some 180s and will drill them to 182

Ran the fastest it has ever gone Wednesday, 8.617 in the 1/4

Went to the track today, meet a member of this forum there. Had a great conversation with him, I welcome him to speak up here.

Lost in the third round by breaking out by .001 seconds.

Looks like you are getting there. What were the EGT's and how was the mph with 35 degrees timing?

I was running 8.7 in the quarter, and am now running 8.6, EGTs are about the same, I am going to go leaner now as I still think I'm burning fuel in the pipes.

The side effect that I have notice is that it is more sensitive to the weather now.

The plugs are tanning up.

Maybe before changing the amount of fuel, put the timing to 36 and see if it cleans the plugs up more?
