Greg,
I'm sure you already have, but make sure to let Chris at PY know that you're bringing a CORRECT stripe kit to market-- there's a large buyer. Oh yeah, AMES too!

Nice job with the stripes. It is good to see reproductions come from people who care about making the best product possible.

As a few others have requested, hopefully you will be able to offer single decals. I could really use a nose bird for a white car.

S&S does but he is out of most of the TA decals and has not indicated that he will be making any more runs of them.

That's just a tease... a test.... a challenge, ha! You know I will, especially for the members here!

Thanks everyone for your interest. I've captured your requests, and will be sending a link with payment instructions in a week or so.

Thanks for all your work Greg to make these a reality. You can add my name to the list for a full set of decals for a white car.

A funny thing happened on the way to look at a Lucy '72 Trans Am this weekend...

I was visiting a fellow who has a Lucy '72 TA for sale this weekend, and as we were talking he indicated he had an unopened package of new reproduction stripes that goes with the car.... Little did he know what he was walking into

After explaining a little history about the stripes development, I asked if he wouldn't mind opening the package so I could compare my stripes to the reproduction stripes he has.

Before opening them, I explained what may be some differences between the reproduction stripes and the one's I'm developing. Needless to say, the look on his face was priceless when the following Carnac moments occurred after we opened the package:

- No clear reveal from edge of black pin stripe... check
- Varying thickness of pin stripe from thinner to thicker.... check
- Varying widths of stripes from roof, deck and spoiler... check
- front tip of hood stripe trimmed 'off center' of stripe... check
- 455 H.O. 'period' and stroke of the 5 different size than original on his shaker... check

I'm proud to say the extra effort put forth on this project addressed all of these topics, thanks primarily to all of your input.

In these pictures, my stripe does not have transfer paper on it. The pictures are in order roof stripe, rear deck and spoiler.

Kapow!

What do you figure the shelf life would be? As I mentioned earlier, it may be a while before I can actually apply them.
