I just figured that the threat was about the GT cars.I dont have a problem with changing the subject but other people might.I also have an extensive Mopar documentation.I have'nt had a chance yet to look throught it,I'll get to it sometime this weekend.

This weekend I entered my GT car in a car show and there was another owner with a 70 GT-37 car.We talked for hours about each others cars and what kind of info we had on these cars. His car has the 350 2bar with a 4speed and its Granda Gold its a rust bucket though. He plans to restore it but it was nice to see another car like mine around the area.

The "Rust Bucket" option was pretty common on these cars, so the "Rust Free" option is always more desirable

I have a female host. However, I can't think of anything smart-ass to say at the moment. It'll probably get me kicked off the site. :-)

I found a hoster. Will get it posted when I get back to NYC. Should I erase anything for security's sake?

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by SpartanMSU:
Sawruk has claimed that the engines were RAIII, but my friend's car, who's engine's VIN is off by one, has the 350hp engine. I believe the AMA engine guide also states this. I think Sawruk is wrong. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Diego, I've heard John state that the manual transmission-equipped 70 1/2 GT-37s built with the "WS" code 400s were rated at 330 hp, the same as the XV code autos. However, as the "WS" code on these blocks indicates, the engine is internally identical to the RAIII unit. The only difference being the GT-37 engine is equipped with a dual-snorkel air cleaner instead of the ram air induction system. I don't recall him mentioning the exhaust manifolds. What manifolds are on these MT GTs? John also says that the GT-37 400 manual trans cars were the quickest Pontiacs tested by PMD engineering in 1970.

Now, did the MT 400s come with the "WS" or "WT" code engine? If they came with the "WT" code, John would be wrong. Who has codes? Judge Man, what does yours tell us?

I have the WT code block which matchs the car.I have PHS docs also and it says that the only available engine were:250 6cyl. 350 2bar. 400 2bar. and the 400 4bar.It does'nt mention a RAlll at all for available engine.
