Thanks everyone. Pat, bought it from Tamraz, a Spectra. Mike, you are right on the white '71 Judge to join ! Got a little more done today. Got the transmission cross member cleaned up and restored today and the crappy drive shaft loop stiffened up so it will not vibrate any more.

Does it vibrate at highway speeds when you accelerate?

I can not remember exactly as I ground off part of the loop that was hitting a brace in the floor and put some padding on top to keep from banging the top of the floor (hitting bumps, maybe acceleration also) so it was not making noise now but since everything is apart I welded on some bracing. She is sturdy now. It was not a properly made piece.

More progress. Floors done. New brake line ran and my exhaust has arrived that I need. For some reason it had a very nice mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch down pipe to a Dr. Gas X pipe and then went into a smaller pipe back that was not mandrel bent......Fixing that now. Getting closer.

Made a lot of headway yesterday. Changed fuel pump, trans cross member back in and exhaust in and done. Gas tank and driveshaft and she is ready to fire up next weekend.

Which loop are you using? I had that issue when I had the Indian Adventures style loop. I had sliced heater hose around the back edge so it wouldn't bang on the floor brace. I switched to the Caruso style when it came out and fit much better, eliminating the issue.

Thanks everyone. Mike, the honeys are on the back (when I was able to put the car back on the ground When I got the car it had the 2 1/2 Down pipe and Dr. Gas X pipe already. I replaced the pipe between that and the new Mufflers that I got from Ram Air Restorations.

Oh, that sucks! They fit so much better than the other ones. Glad I got another one for the T-37 when he was still making them.

The car turned out awesome! I may change my mind about painting my GT-37 the original Castillian Bronze after seeing a nice blue. My Ivory leather seats would look great with a nice blue.

Well...not perfect by any means but is much improved from when I started. Ended up taking the drive shaft loop out (POS) and going to make one.

Thanks for all the kind words.

So happy to see that car get the attention it needed Jody. You've done excellent work and it shows! Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Thanks Pat. I am very proud to own it. It is time to start to enjoy it a bit. I will not get to the gear change I need this year and a couple other small things but I will race it at the pure stock drags in September and see what I can get with a pretty much stock combo, stock 3.55 rear end gear, and motor. The exhaust is better than stock and have had the distributor re curved to what I need but other than that......

Hoping to make POCI and display it there for a day or two as I cannot make the whole convention.

Jody
