Unhappy

I'm in for a Franklin, Mike's and I have been friends since 1998, since I first joined PY, since he only about 45 minutes away from my place, so we see each other in person and talk on the phone on occasion, he's been a "go to" guy for me when I have a car or truck issue I'm not sure how to fix or diagnose. so I owe him a lot! one time he came over to help me change out my water heater, I had it all drained, unhooked, and ready to remove, but couldn't get it out of the closet its in because of the gas pipe comes out of the floor about 10 inches in front of it, so rolling it out was not an option! so Mike comes over, bear hugs it, picks it up over the pipe and sets it down, problem solved! he's a straight shooter and more honest than some can handle, but I wouldn't have him any other way! gonna come visit ASAP so be looking for me!

This has touched me. Kurt noted this news flattened his heart and I agree, it absolutely has flattened mine too.
I can't do much but I can pray and send money, both of which I've done.

I am sorry to hear about this devastating news. Having gone through this myself I can only hope and pray for the best for you and your family. I have been getting along now for 14 years and during this time I have researched surgeries, chemo, radiation, health foods, etc. If there is anything you want to discuss, please PM me.
God Bless You,
Gary

Donation sent. Ive never met Mike but I feel like I know him from being on the PY forum. Just about every thread you go to, Mike has a post. I wish I knew as much as he forgot.
Mike seems like a stand up guy and a great family man. I was shocked when I saw this thread and just felt like he was a family member and I just kind of sat there for a moment thinking about it, just really saddened by this. I dont now how old Mike is but seems too young to be going thru this.

Keep up the fight and your in my thoughts and prayers

For those of us that don't like to use a credit card or Paypal. Is the address in David's originial post the one we would send cash or checks to ?

This is really devastating news on top of all the other cancer battles our
forum members have dealt with in the last two years. I haven't met Mike but have always
enjoyed his posts over the years and I know he has done a lot for POCI, of which I am
a thirty-two year member......Prayers and a donation sent to Mike and his family. Damn
this really sucks.

I've known Mike personally for only a few years now but I always look forward to seeing him in Norwalk and talking when we can. I hope he can continue to do what he has done for our hobby for a long time to come. We need more like him in our lives.
Doubled up on the donation for $100 for some who cant. Mike heres to seeing you soon.

A group of members from Pontiacs Of Southeastern Indiana are heading up Wednesday to visit Mike. The club officers have already voted to make a healthy donation to the cause. We're going to hold the donation until after we visit with Mike to see if there is something specific we can attach it to, or if it will just go into the general fund. He's already requested some of Carole's famous chocolate chip cookies for the visit. I'll post back Wednesday after our visit. -Doug

Yes, that's his business and home address. He lives out in the country, thus the odd looking address.

Thank you!

Sorry, I didn't see that Kurt had already replied.
