We finally did it but I got some issues like tiger strips on lid and runs in my clear.

More pics and I was hoping to do a better job but it was hot mid 90's and being in a suit and respirator, my glasses were fogged couldnt see *****z all excuses i know but its DONE, now gotta learn how to get the runs outta the clear any help is appreciated.

Clear you can fix tiger stripping not so much some great tricks to cut and buff out clear just be careful .Looks great making progress.

Use glazing putty as a leveler so you can watch your edges almost like blocking skim coat it level with the run then wet sand watching the edges until hey are gone then . stage buff works great won't burn through the clear ol body guy showed me it .If the run is real bad use a new razor blade and take it down a notch then wet sand good luck just watch the edges you don't want to be spotting it back in PIA.

Thanks for the info so take the glazing putty and put it on beside the run above and below it then sand it down with say 800, 1000, 1500 wet?

Yes if your run is bad more aggressive to start with works great seen it done and used the technique myself..
