Do you have a pic of a '76 with a 70-75 hood on it? Not sure if I have ever seen this...?

The body lines on a 76 are the same as 75. Only difference is the bumpers. Would be no problem. Here is a 76 resto mod with 79 10th anniversary wheels. The scoops look really cool with that nose. They also cut the rare fiberglass hood for a scoop. What a shame. I would love to have that motor however, a nice 455

Front 245/60/15 Dunlop Qualifier and Rear 275/60/15 Nitto DR on powder coated oem snowflakes.
Front and rear springs were replaced in 1987 (front cut about 1/2 turn) and Koni red. Currently looking at a set of Year One 17x9 gold snowflakes (not sure of tire size yet but definitely open for suggestions). Sorry if this is a double post. |

a popular combo ive seen on the forums is 245/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear (some go a bit wider on rear, one guy went to a 315 but it was very tight)

Will that combo leave a larger gap between the tire and the fender/quarter openings?

yes...most guys do some susp. mods to lower car when going to a 17" wheel. ive also heard of using a 50 series tire to fill some of the gap.

Don't save it as a.bmp as it not compressed. Save pictures as .jpg instead and you will have no problem posting them eventhough they're larger.

69 goat
275 50 Nittos on back with 17"x9.5" TTIIs with 5.5 bs. 61 1/4" outer drum to drum 12 bolt rear. Wheels and tires fit perfect with no modifications.
Fronts are 255 60 Nittos on 17"x8 with 4.75 bs. I had to massage the front lower fender lips for the front wheels/tires to work.
